We'd like to facilitate as much as we can transportation to the UCSC campus and other facilities throughout the 4-day workshop.
For those of you with a car:
We have a limited number of parking permits available for parking on campus for the following days: 6/18, 6/19 and 6/21. For information on this please talk to Gabriela Giusta upon arrival Monday, 6/18.
For those of you without a car:
We will have 2 vans available in the morning to bring folks up to campus, and in the afternoon to bring them back to the meeting location in downtown Santa Cruz.
The meeting point for pick ups and drop offs is: Bookshop Santa Cruz located at 1520 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
The pick up times are as follows:
Monday 6/18: 10:45 am
Tuesday 6/19: 7:45 am
Wednesday 6/20: 8:15 am
Thursday 6/21: 8:15 am
Please be on time. Given our schedule, we cannot wait for folks that arrive late.
Wednesday 6/20 - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!
On Wednesday, 6/20 we will be driving to the city of Watsonville to learn about the community engaged research work being done there. This is approximately a 30-45 minute drive. We will provide transportation both ways, and we ask all participants to please meet us at the Bookshop Santa Cruz at 8:15 am. All vans will be departing at that time from that location.
